How To Apply One Gel Magnetic
Step 1
PREP
Clean nails with soap and water.
Trim or file nails to desired length and shape.
Push back cuticles.
Lightly buff nail beds using a buffer to remove natural shine and create subtle texture.
Remove any oils and residue from nails using alcohol and let dry.
If you have split, bent, or chipped nails: Gently file to smooth and reshape. Trim off damaged area of nail, if possible, to maximize wear. Then continue with prep steps to ensure proper adhesion of the polish.
Step 2
APPLY
Shake bottle well to mix up magnetic particles.
Apply one coat of polish to one nail*.
*Effects must be activated and cured before moving onto the next nail.
PRO TIP: Make sure to cap your free edge with polish for longer-lasting wear.
Step 3
ADD EFFECT
Hover the flat side of the magnet about 1 inch away from your nail, slightly moving side to side along either the left or right side of your nail bed.
Once desired effect is created, repeat on the other side of the nail bed.
To finish, hover the magnet at the free edge of your nail bed, completing a classic velvet effect.*
*If desired outcome is not achieved or a mistake is made, run the brush over polish to reset magnetic particles.
PRO TIP: Avoid getting polish on the cuticle or skin; remove any polish or pooling between nail and skin before curing.
PRO TIP: For a more intense magnetic effect, apply an ultra-thin first coat (do not use the Power Magnet Tool), cure, then apply a second coat following the above instructions.
PRO TIP: Make sure to cap your free edge with polish for longer-lasting wear.
Step 4
CURE
After each nail, complete the following:
Press button on the back of lamp to activate LED light.
Cure for 60 seconds. Lamp will automatically turn off after 60 seconds.
PRO TIP: To ensure proper curing, please use the One Gel LED Lamp. One Gel is not compatible with the Dashing Diva Glaze Lamp.
NOTE: SmartShield technology allows you to safely connect USB-C to ANY power source – and can also cause your LED lamp to blink. Don’t worry, nothing is wrong. This is just the SmartShield doing its job.
OPTIONAL STEP: Apply & cure Dashing Diva One Gel Top Coat for extra shine.

This is great but it always peels before 7 days. Even we filing the nail and capping the free edge. I’ll try to use acetone before applying polish this next time but otherwise I love this brand even if I have to redo my nails more often

I love this gel application. The process is so easy and fast and that's the reason why I love Dashing Diva. I always like their gel stickers and non-gel stickers nail polish. I like their press-on too. Since, they came out with this new gel thing, I decided to give it a try. and the result was WOW. Just like regular nail polish and once it got uv light cure it and I'm done. I like the transparent effect and it's been a week with heavy cleaning and washing around the house, the nail is still stay on and look fab.

I have used DD for several years now and have been mostly very happy. The Glaze nails are my very favorites but I was excited to try this Blu with magnetic effects. The color is gorgeous but after several different tries, it seems the more I try the magnetic effect, the duller the color seems. Since trying to paint with my left hand is not as easy, I will probably just stick with the Glaze nails as they also last longer!
