Glaze
How do I prep my nails for Glaze?

Wash your hands with an oil-free soap and water (dish soap works great to remove oils from the skin and nails! This helps Glaze adhere best). Shape the nails and push back cuticles. Use the enclosed Prep Pad to remove any remaining oil and residue. Make sure your nails are completely dry before application.

Do I need a base or topcoat?

Because Glaze is an all-in-one product, no additional base coat, nail strengthener or top coat is needed. Should you decide to wear an additional product with Glaze, we cannot guarantee lasting results.

I'm in between sizes. What should I do?

If you’re in between sizes, size down! It’s always better to use a strip that is slightly too small, than too big. If there is any overlap on the skin along the sides or cuticle line, there may be lifting.

What if I mess up a nail? Can I redo it?

Yes! You can reposition the strip if needed, but we recommend minimizing the number of attempts. If you feel the adhesive is weaker after repositioning, it's best to use a new strip for optimal results.

How many times do I need to cure?

Glaze only requires 1 cure for 45 seconds.

My nails feel sensitive while curing. Why is this happening?

If you notice any discomfort during curing, this may indicate a thinning or weakened nail bed. Remove your hand for a moment, and then replace to finish curing.

I'm noticing lifting and/or chipping at the tips. What happened?

Glaze should be trimmed to the exact length of your natural nail prior to curing—please make sure the strip is not extending beyond your nail length, as this can cause lifting and chipping. After curing, take care to file off any remaining excess so that the strip is completely flush to your natural nail.

How can I prevent my hair from getting caught?

Tip 1: Before use, clean the cuticle line neatly. This step is important, as dead skin is a main cause of premature lifting, and hair getting caught. Carefully push back the cuticles and optionally remove your cuticles by trimming with a cuticle nipper or gently buffing them away with the included file. Then, ensure the nails are clear from oils and residue by wiping down with the included prep pad.

Tip 2: Press down all around the cuticle area and entire nail surface using the included manicure stick. Then, press and smooth the entire nail surface with your finger, making sure there is no gap between Glaze and your nail.

How do I remove Glaze?

To remove Glaze, apply cuticle oil (such as our Magic Off+ Remover) to the base of the nail. Using a manicure stick, gently and slowly lift the nail strip from the corner of the cuticle area. Saturate the nail with additional oil to help loosen the adhesive. After a few moments, gently and slowly lift off the Glaze from your nail by pushing from the cuticle line toward the tip of the nail with the manicure stick. Do not rush! If you feel any tension, apply more oil, and allow more time for the adhesive to dissolve.

How should I take care of my nails in between manicures?

Use our Red Therapy line to treat your nails! Make sure to also regularly moisturize your hands and nails with lotion and oils.

How do I store my leftover Glaze? Does it expire?

Before curing your nails, make sure your leftover strips are placed in the black carton in order to prevent premature nail curing if exposed to LED lamp light. Glaze will stay fresh for 12 months after being opened!

    Goofy French

Too much white, not enough clear!! They look SO goofy on my nails because the white starts halfway down the nail. Makes my hands look awful and stubby and I LOOOVE other DD products and recommend them to everyone who compliments my nails. Please please please offer a longer nail bed version or make the French tip shorter/ start further down! I want the French tips to look elegant, like your other nails. They adhere just fine, like other DD nails. Tip: Since I hate how they look, I just cover them with a Gloss nail sticker, or regular polish and use the French tips as a mostly clear strengthening base (they might be ugly, but they still are super strong, so two stars)

Oh no! We're sorry to hear about your experience with White French. While we're glad you found them strong and durable, we understand your frustration with the white tip placement and how it affects the overall look of your manicure.

We truly appreciate your detailed feedback and loyalty as a regular Dashing Diva customer, and we're thankful that you continue to recommend our other products. Your suggestion about offering a longer nail bed version or adjusting the French tip placement is valuable feedback for our product development team.

We love your creative solution of using them as a base layer - that's such a clever way to make the most of their strength and durability!

Feel free to reach out to our Customer Service team at info@dashingdiva.com — we'd be happy to recommend some alternative French tip styles that might better suit your preferences!

Oh no! We're very sorry to hear that you found the white tips on our White French to be too prominent. We understand how important it is to achieve the perfect, natural-looking French manicure look, and this wasn't the experience we wanted you to have.

We take your feedback about the design very seriously, as achieving the right balance with French tips is extremely important to us.

    Best,

    I love these, but…

I absolutely love the way these look on my nails and I purchased several of them before I knew they had issues. They have really poor quality, especially compared to Gloss and Magic Press. I have the same issue with all Glaze products, not just the White French. They lift quickly, especially at the cuticle, and they chip off or lift at the ends within a few days. When I apply them, I really press them down and I make sure they are flush at the length of my nail, all the things DD says to do. My Gloss manis and my Magic Press pedis last a really long time and I love them. I wish the White French Glaze (or any Glaze product) would be of the same caliber. If they were I would subscribe to the White French because they look so nice on my nails.

They have been on for 3 days 11 more days to go lol. So far so good. If they work well these will be my new gel nails.
