I just tried the new glaze extensions! Very easy to apply much like the regular glaze strips with the addition of some length. I tried them while my nails were very short and I was pleased with how natural they looked, I did need to cut some of the nails down a little as the extensions were too long for my liking and I was afraid they would not last long with no nail behind to help strengthen the extensions. I liked the color and pattern, wished there were more of the plain color though. I liked the glaze extensions more than the magic press, I would definitely purchase again! I’m an avid user of Dashing Diva Glaze gel-cured strips, so I was excited to try the Ruby Blooms Glaze Extensions. Overall, I think these are a solid and thoughtful addition to the Glaze line, especially for anyone with short, brittle, or uneven nails.

One of the biggest positives is the structure. These extensions are thick, hard, and very protective, which I really appreciate since my natural nails are weak and brittle without any product on them. I also love that they help make all of my nails approximately the same length; something I can’t achieve naturally. They hold their shape well and stay shiny, which gives a polished look right out of the gate.

That said, I did notice a key difference compared to the regular Glaze strips. If these extensions aren’t fully cured or perfectly adhered, the entire nail tends to pop off, rather than just lifting slightly at the edges like the standard Glaze strips. I wore them for a few days and ultimately had 2 of them pop off, though they still looked great while they were on.

The main challenge for me was sizing, specifically for my thumbnails. I have very wide thumbnails, and there wasn’t a size that fit properly. With regular Glaze strips, I can usually apply them horizontally and trim as needed, but that approach doesn’t work well with the extensions. Because of the length and structure, cutting them down for my wide thumbnails just wasn’t manageable.

I applied these nail extension stickers exactly according to the instructions. The overall quality is very good, and they are slightly thicker than Glaze-style stickers, which initially felt sturdy and durable.

I would have appreciated a few more size options, as getting a perfect fit was a bit challenging. Unfortunately, within the first 24 hours, three nails had already popped off, and by the end of the third day, I was left with only four still on.

They also felt very similar to press-on nails rather than a seamless extension. As the days went on, they lifted slightly from the nail bed, which caused my hair to snag underneath them quite often.

Overall, the product has good potential, but longevity and fit could be improved.

Let me preface by saying I WILL be purchasing again to give this nail type another go! I wasn’t crazy about the design/patterns, some looked a little cheaper quality than others in the same set I received. The nails held up very well and I was impressed, especially given that I handle a lot of heavy boxes daily and often experience wear and tear with other nail brands. The process was much faster than the glaze application which I was a huge fan of!
