I've used Dashing Diva Glaze Semi-cured Strips the past four months. I love their true gel look, their affordability, and most of all, the so, so easy removal process. They are protecting and nurturing my nails as they grow out from a very brutal salon gel nail removal. I was excited to try this new product. As you can see, the color is very complementary to my yellow undertone warm skintone. The extended tips are holding up well. I know removal will be a safe, non-damaging breeze. The longer nails do get in the way sometimes when I do household chores, but they remain smooth, undamaged, and firmly attached.

Selecting the correct size was easier because the strips are pre-curved, but unlike tips, they do form to fit exactly the underlying nail. These were faster to apply than the regular glaze strips because they did not require any trimming or filing. I like that aspect best of all. I will probably reserve this type of nail for vacations, when they make a very special treat for me.

I am (like many) a faithful glaze user - mostly because I keep my nails short and glaze really strengthens them. I was super excited for glaze extensions - a way to add some length to my nails for "special occasions". This color admittedly is not the best - a little too skin color for my liking - but besides that they looked pretty amazing for being done at home. They feel different than the standard glaze nails - less strong, even with a double cure - but for a couple of days it's great to get a quick good looking nail. I'll be a faithful glaze user for most of the time, but I will 100% have a set of these on deck for "emergencies".

I'm a long time glaze user and adore glazed nails, so I was quite excited when this new line of glaze extensions came out. Unfortunately they did not live up to my hopes. While the glaze extensions I got were very easy to apply, even more so than regular glaze nails, and they were also very pretty, they absolutely did not stay on my nails. The first one popped off within 12 hours and all of them had popped off within 48 hours. Additionally, even though I cured them twice as suggested in their instructions, the tips seemed a little softer than I generally like. I really wanted to like these, but I will be going back to glaze.

I am already in Love with the glaze line but the extensions take it to a whole new level! I love the curve of the nails because it makes the nails fit so much better!

I am a faithful Glaze user and have the process down, love the product. I enjoy a bit of length on my nails (glaze allows my nails the strength to grow fairly long). However I have long nail beds, so the short length of the Extensions isn’t really adding much length to my natural nails - in fact, I had to file them pretty short to use the product.

The color makes these look more artificial than the colors I typically wear in Glaze. I thought the packaging was nice, the application process not all that different or more complicated than what I’m used to. I did somehow mess up one of my pinky nails around the cuticle - although the extension is nowhere near my skin, it buckled under the LED lamp. None of the other nails did this.

As for longevity, that remains to be seen. I also feel like the “domed” effect that I’m used to with Glaze is less apparent with Extensions. The nails are shaped but the gel does not feel thinner near the edges - I feel like as my nails grow that will be more apparent.

I’m going to see how this set goes for the next week or so, but for now I think I’ll stick with the tried and true Glaze product.
