32 gel manicure strips, 1 prep pad, 1 nail file
STEP 1: PREP
Clean nails with soap and water.
Shape nails and push back cuticles.
Use the enclosed Vitamin E Prep Pad to ensure nails are clear from oils and residue.
Make sure your nails are completely dry before application.
STEP 2: SELECT SIZE
Hold the sheet over each nail to find your size. If you are in between sizes, always size down.
Gently lift the strip from the sheet starting from the edge.
STEP 3: APPLICATION
Place the strip over the center of your nail, starting at your cuticle line and pressing outward.
Press down firmly from the center and side to side.
STEP 4: FILE
Fold the excess material over your free edge.
Position the nail file horizontally along the contour of your nail.
With one sweeping motion, file firmly across your free edge.
Be sure to file in one direction at a time; filing from side to side will tear the edges.
PRO TIPS
Try Red Therapy Base Seal Treatment for GLOSS to hydrate and strengthen natural nails while extending the wear of GLOSS.
Make sure the strip is applied slightly above your cuticle line, avoiding placement on skin.
If you have excessive material when folding the strip over your nail edge, trim with a scissor or nail clipper before filing.
For optimal adhesion, avoid exposing nails to lotions, oils, or water for at least one hour after application.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, and use the included Prep Pad to remove any oils from your nails. Make sure you completely push back your cuticles as well.
First, apply an ample amount of cuticle oil. After peeling off a corner along the cuticle line, gently roll the strips off. Don’t rush with this! It helps to apply additional oil to the fingers you’re using to roll the strips off as well. The more lubrication, the better!
Don’t expose your nails to household cleansers or harsh chemicals! Nails are more permeable than skin. Even prolonged exposure to water can dry out your nails and hands. Always wear gloves when cleaning, and apply hand lotion after you wash or wet your hands. (Just make sure to stay away from water and lotion for a couple of hours after GLOSS application.)

I got this along with a few other sets to build a manicure of just flowers. The ring finger in this photo is from the New Leaf set.

I have tried several brands of strips and these are the worst by far! They don’t lay properly, don’t file evenly, and the edges are horrible. I made sure to follow all application instructions. I am very disappointed.
Was this helpful?DDDashing Diva6 days agoOh no! We're very sorry to hear about your less-than-positive experience with our A New Leaf. We understand how frustrating it can be when the nail strips don't perform as expected, especially with difficulties in application and filing. This isn't the performance we strive for with our products.
We understand you followed the application instructions carefully, and we take your feedback about the strips' lay, filing, and edge issues very seriously. This isn't the experience we want any of our customers to have with our products.
Our team would be more than happy to look into these application issues and provide additional tips to help achieve better results. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@dashingdiva.com.

Love this set! Just put them on yesterday and they are a great subtle color. I’ve been using Dashing Diva nail strips for the last year and an half and my days of professional manicures are over!

This is my first time trying Dashing Diva and I love them! The first picture is right after applying and the second is two week later. I wanted to show the growth and how they hold up. I work in a hospital so I wash my hands or use sanitizer 50+ times daily. Despite this the only damage was a little chip on my pointer finger. Other nail stickers I’ve used pull my hair out near the cuticle when I wash my hair. That didn’t happen. For less than $10 these held up for 2 weeks and were so cute! There are also 20 extra stickers that I will trim and mix and match colors with so you pretty much get 3 manicures. Totally worth it!
