How do I prep my nails for Glaze?

Wash your hands with an oil-free soap and water (dish soap works great to remove oils from the skin and nails! This helps Glaze adhere best). Shape the nails and push back cuticles. Use the enclosed Prep Pad to remove any remaining oil and residue. Make sure your nails are completely dry before application.

Do I need a base or topcoat?

Because Glaze is an all-in-one product, no additional base coat, nail strengthener or top coat is needed. Should you decide to wear an additional product with Glaze, we cannot guarantee lasting results.

I'm in between sizes. What should I do?

If you’re in between sizes, size down! It’s always better to use a strip that is slightly too small, than too big. If there is any overlap on the skin along the sides or cuticle line, there may be lifting.

What if I mess up a nail? Can I redo it?

Yes! You can reposition the strip if needed, but we recommend minimizing the number of attempts. If you feel the adhesive is weaker after repositioning, it's best to use a new strip for optimal results.

How many times do I need to cure?

Glaze only requires 1 cure for 45 seconds.

My nails feel sensitive while curing. Why is this happening?

If you notice any discomfort during curing, this may indicate a thinning or weakened nail bed. Remove your hand for a moment, and then replace to finish curing.

I'm noticing lifting and/or chipping at the tips. What happened?

Glaze should be trimmed to the exact length of your natural nail prior to curing—please make sure the strip is not extending beyond your nail length, as this can cause lifting and chipping. After curing, take care to file off any remaining excess so that the strip is completely flush to your natural nail.

How can I prevent my hair from getting caught?

Tip 1: Before use, clean the cuticle line neatly. This step is important, as dead skin is a main cause of premature lifting, and hair getting caught. Carefully push back the cuticles and optionally remove your cuticles by trimming with a cuticle nipper or gently buffing them away with the included file. Then, ensure the nails are clear from oils and residue by wiping down with the included prep pad.

Tip 2: Press down all around the cuticle area and entire nail surface using the included manicure stick. Then, press and smooth the entire nail surface with your finger, making sure there is no gap between Glaze and your nail.

How do I remove Glaze?

To remove Glaze, apply cuticle oil (such as our Magic Off+ Remover) to the base of the nail. Using a manicure stick, gently and slowly lift the nail strip from the corner of the cuticle area. Saturate the nail with additional oil to help loosen the adhesive. After a few moments, gently and slowly lift off the Glaze from your nail by pushing from the cuticle line toward the tip of the nail with the manicure stick. Do not rush! If you feel any tension, apply more oil, and allow more time for the adhesive to dissolve.

How should I take care of my nails in between manicures?

Use our Red Therapy line to treat your nails! Make sure to also regularly moisturize your hands and nails with lotion and oils.

How do I store my leftover Glaze? Does it expire?

Before curing your nails, make sure your leftover strips are placed in the black carton in order to prevent premature nail curing if exposed to LED lamp light. Glaze will stay fresh for 12 months after being opened!

    Perfection!

This is the perfect pink. It is completely opaque and it’s the correct tone to work with all skin colors. It’s not too yellow or too blue. Truly magical.

But PLEASE for the love of all things beauty sell this color separately! I’m tired of having to repurchase the kit with a light every time.

    Ditch the nail salon now!

These are a game changer! So easy to apply and last 2 weeks. I’ve received so many compliments on my nails since using DD glaze nails. Nail salon look at half the price. This powder pink is so pretty for spring! Also, these do not damage my nails like gel polish at the nail salon does.

    Pros and Cons

There are things I love about your nail wraps and things I don't. I do like how they protect my nails and WHEN I get them to stick and stay on, they last for quite awhile. And they look nice. I do like the price of your nail wraps and the quick shipping.

What I don't like is trying to the them to STAY on. I put one on one day in the morning, and by evening, it fell off. I have followed all your directions, even washing my nails with Dawn BEFORE I put them on. Some of them just really don't stick well, they don't conform to my nail very well and I have had to use smaller wraps to get the best results, which leaves a small gap on the side of the wrap to the edge of my nail.

I'll be trying other brands to see if I get the same results or better results.

    Holy Grail for Nails!

This product is excellent ! I have thin fragile nails that are almost impossible to grow out. It’s been 8 days and I have not had to file any nails, they don’t get caught on my clothes anymore. I love the smoothness and shine. No special care has been needed with normal dishwashing and cleaning. These are better than some expensive treatments I’ve paid too much for- bye bye salon. Can’t wait to try more. Customer service is also great. I had an issue with the lamp and they sent me one very quickly!
