LOVE these. nail guards!

I was skeptical about these nail guards and wondered if they would stay on. Well, was I surprised! I had no lifting and they removed beautifully. What I really love is that I don't have to use acetone to get my gel polish off. It's been so hard on my nails that I really wanted to get away from damaging my nails with every polish change. I used alcohol to wipe my nails before applying the nail guards. If you do proper prep, I don't think you should have any problems with lifting. LOVE!

Found them again!

I don't remember how or where l first came in to possession of a single sheet of these nail guards but l had no idea how to use them. They went in to a drawer and l just continued applying my own pre-designed nails with acrylic and every couple of weeks filing and soaking and reapplying new sets. I had been looking for temporary adhesives because sometimes l desperately loved my designs and wanted to reuse them but couldn't. Usual temp tabs were just too bulky and the nails wouldn't seat well and l looked like a little girl playing dress up. Finally l remembered this sheet of nail guards and decided to play one day.
I found these guards are so incredibly thin they almost disappeared on my nailplate. When l measured my false nail l saw that they seated so completely l just used a minimal amount of nail glue. I am HARD on my nails and didn't think they would really last more than a few days but holy hannah - 18 days!!! And when l removed my false nail l was able to clean up the underside so well l will be able to reuse most of these again!
I ordered a few more packages and want to give them to my gal pals now and show them how marvelous these guards are. Even just using them as a base coat on natural nails keeps polish on beautifully.
Dashing Diva, I want to marry you now. As an ex-nail tech of 27 years l have never found anything like this.

Never going back

I’ve been using the nail guards under my dip powder and I’m never going back to removing my dip with acetone and my dipped nails no longer lift and I can get 2-3 weeks out of my nails .

So far so good.

5 days and holding strong under dip powder. Acetone soak has ruined my nails so I’m looking for an alternative so I can keep enjoying my nails without the damage.

Total Fail!

The instructions say to peel off the white backing and then apply tacky (sticky) side to nail. However, after removing the backing there was no sticky side. I'm not even sure how the backing managed to stay on, both sides of the protective strip were exactly the same, not even a hint of stickiness. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but this was a completely worthless purchase.
