Job Description

Strategy & Channel Development (50%) 

  • Work alongside the Sr. Brand Manager & Digital Art Director to develop over-arching channel content strategy
  • Lead and project manage cross-functional workflow between creative and brand teams. 
  • Develop cross-channel social content strategy for campaign and collection rollout and optimize based on KPIs
  • Establish and protect DD brand voice and visual aesthetic across all social channels.
  • Adapt brand pillars, goals and campaigns to an annual social plan and , own content planning timeline and milestones for  social channels including Instagram, TikTok, FB, Pinterest, Youtube.  
  • Partner with team stakeholders to develop and execute best in class content and 360 storytelling in alignment with cross-functional partners including product development, education, sales, growth marketing and e-commerce. 
  • Maintain an “always on” evergreen level of exposure and support across all brand objectives including retailers, partners, influencers, UGC, branded content, DTC e-commerce, education, testimonials, ratings and reviews. 
  • Re-ignite Dashing Diva’s TikTok presence with clear understanding of platform + actionable objectives based on business goals.  
  • Stay abreast of algorithmic changes and social platform updates; be at the forefront of what is happening in the space and propose new platforms to enter and first to market programs.   
  • Regularly review the social and digital work of our competitors and industry leaders and share competitive learnings with broader marketing team.  
  • Partner with PR agency, boosting partnerships and PR activationsto drive new brand awareness and fan acquisition.   
  • Assist Performance Marketing Manager in the management and execution of paid social strategy and campaigns
  • Act as the first touchpoint and voice of theDashing Divabrand across all owned and organic social channels in a way that ensures a positive community experience and establishes clear brand voice.

 

Influencer: (25%) 

  • Strategize, recommend and execute nano, micro and macro influencer partnerships alongside agencies and service providers
  • Develop and execute gifting/seeding strategy

 

Analytics & Reporting: (15%) 

  • Own and provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly analytics report and summarize highlights for channel health, audience growth, engagement and DTC ecommerce traffic and sales. 
  • Track and monitor KPIs in real-time to optimize and pivot strategies, tactics, and content development. 
  • Utilizesocial listeningto synthesize ongoing trends, test-and-learn, monitor competitive brands, and report on quantitative findingsfromsocialmedia community to inspire new campaigns. 

 

Brand Marketing: (10%) 

This person will be an essential member of the Brand Marketing team and will support other team members on projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of previous social media management, beauty industry preferred. 
  • Min 2 years managing a brand’s social media channels, including TikTok 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant subject matter required  
  • Proven ability to analyze social performance analytics, understand strategy and set KPIS 
  • Experience in managing and growing brands   
  • Must be willing and available to work in ‘real-time' and after business hours—including evenings, weekends and holidays—with an always on approach across all social media channels   
  • Strong understanding and interest in current and upcoming beauty market trends and the cultural landscape, with the ability and desire to seek out new ideas and approaches that align with theDD brand. 
  • Naturally curious and an idea generator—ability to brainstorm new ways to bring the brand to life on social media   
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, a problem-solver with the ability to take ownership and initiative, work efficiently and strategically while balance competing priorities   
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills including the ability to stay positive   
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and project management skills   
  • Elevated creative eye and aesthetic; strong creative vision and skills in photo, video and design
  • Keen eye for analytics and data-driven decision making 
  • Photography and video editing skills are a plus   
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite including Lightroom and Photoshop is a plus   
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Dash Hudson, and other similar platforms is a plus
