Job Description

Brand/PR Strategy & Execution (60%) 

  • Develop brand, seasonal, and product messaging based on brand pillars, goals and campaign launches. 
  • Create a monthly and yearly omnichannel marketing communications activation calendar that embodies the Dashing Diva brand and visual aesthetic, consisting of PR, influencer, and retail marketing activity.  
  • Partner with Director, Marketing Communications, and team stakeholders to develop and execute best-in-class 360 programs and content in alignment with cross-functional partners including product marketing & development, education, sales, growth marketing and e-commerce. 
  • Regularly review competitive brand messaging and industry leaders to constantly stay at the forefront of trends; share competitive learnings with the broader marketing team.  
  • Partner with PR agency, boosting partnerships and PR activationsto drive new brand awareness and fan acquisition, Work with the PR team to secure coverage for Dashing Diva franchises and collection launches.  
  • Report on relevant KPIs to the Marketing team and the whole organization.

Influencer: (40%) 

  • Provide monthly and quarterly report on Octoly (influencer campaign) 
  • Strategize, recommend, and execute paid + organic influencer campaign (always-on + project specific) 
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to maximize exposure.  

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of previous brand marketing or PR/Communications experience, beauty industry preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or other relevant subject matter required  
  • Possess strong writing skills and a passion for storytelling through written and visual content.
  • Proven ability to analyze analytics, understand strategy and set KPI’s 
  • Experience in managing and growing brands   
  • Strong understanding and interest in current and upcoming beauty market trends and the cultural landscape, with the ability and desire to seek out new ideas and approaches that align with theDD brand. 
  • Naturally curious and an idea generator—ability to brainstorm new ways to bring the brand to life on social media   
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, a problem-solver with the ability to take ownership and initiative, work efficiently and strategically while balance competing priorities   
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills including the ability to stay positive   
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and project management skills   
  • Elevated creative eye and aesthetic
